Arkansas lies in the south of the USA. It has an expanse of 137.742 km². Its capital is "Little Rock". The town has about 160.000 inhabitants and is the birthplace of the President of the USA: Bill Clinton.

The river Mississippi and the Arkansas river run through Arkansas. Most other rivers in this state fall into these two rivers.
